Yes I did. Here are the answers to my two questions... -----------------How to put music on.--------------------
Insert your micro SD card.
Go under Settings ->Connection -> USB Connection Mode and select option 2 (mass storage)
Then plug in the cable.
Your PC should be able to recognize the phone as a mass storage device.
Then go into Windows Media Player -> Sync. Your phone should be visible there. Just drag over which ever song you want to put on the phone and hit the "Sync" button.
Your music should be copied over.
---------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a workaround I found for getting your contacts from Outlook into your LG CF360:
To perform this task you need a microSD Card.
With Outlook 2007 1. Plug your phone (as USB mass storage) or microSD Card using a card reader. 2. Open Outlook 2007 3. Select contacts you want to load to your phone 4. Right Click and select Send Full Catacts, vCard 5. E-mail these contacts to yourself (Antivirus Software might block this e-mail but you should able to open them from Sent Item) 6. Receive e-mail or open from Sent Items and move attachment vCard to your MicroSD card (create Temp Folder). 7. Place microSD car into your phone and turn it on 8. On the phone, go to My Stuff -> Other Files. You will see all the .vcf files, and for each you can chose "Save in Contact", which will bring you in edit mode, and you can press Save at that point.
With Outlook 2003 1. Plug your phone (as USB mass storage) or microSD Card using a card reader. 2. Open Outlook 2003 3. Select contacts you want to load to your phone 4. Hit "return". This will open all the contacts...Make sure you don't select more than 30-40 contacts at a time. 5. For each contact flick on File menu and select "Export to vCard File". Select "Yes" when prompted and the close the contact. The .vcf files will be saved under C:\Documents and Settings\{your username}\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures folder. 6. Create a Temp folder on the MicroSD card and copy all these .vcf files into this folder. 7. Place microSD car into your phone and turn it on 8. On the phone, go to My Stuff -> Other Files. You will see all the .vcf files, and for each you can chose "Save in Contact", which will bring you in edit mode, and you can press Save at that point.
Long process especially if you have a lot of contacts.
Hope this helps others on the same quest. If you have a better and faster way to do this, please post here. Message Edited by Mizu001 on 07-06-2009 02:36:27 PM
