In order to assign pictures and or ring tones to Favorites the contacts must be on the Phone no just the SIM. All Favorites refer to the Phone and not the SIM card for their information. Make sure your device is set to read from the phone as follows: 1) Press the Contacts icon (second from left at bottom of idle screen, looks like a little Rolodex). 2) Press the Options icon located at the top right corner of the screen. (looks like a square with lines in it). 3) Select "View Settings". 4) Select Phone Only - make sure there is a check mark next to this option. NOTE: If you select "Phone & SIM Card" option you will probably see duplicate contacts displayed on your phone since the phone is now reading from the phone and SIM card!

ok, I've been having a problem with my LG Xenon. I am on my second one. The first one I returned in only 2 days. The problem with the first one is very similar to that of my current Xenon. First phone: when a text was received, I would open it to use the keyboard, but the screen would not flip to the correct horizontal view. (started acting up within 2-3 days of usage) Second phone: just recently started acting up (have had for about a month) and when writing a text (using the QWERTY keypad) the screen will spaztically flip to the vertical view and show the touch screen keypad. It is quite annoying because if I close and reopen, it changes, but immediately goes back to the vertical view.

I am also on my second LG Xenon and having the exact same problem you are having. I absolutely love this phone, but this issue is irritating. I've performed a master reset on this one, because that is what they had me do when I called tech support last time, but still no change. I'm past my 30 days, or else I would definitely exchange it for a better phone. Hopefully someone can provide help, as I'm very frustrated with my phone!

Me too. I am on my second phone in less than 2 weeks. I had problems entering contacts. The phone no. for one of my contacts was displaying for all my other contacts. We did a restart and as far as I know fixed that issue, but then I started having issues with the qwerty keyboard, the screen was not displaying horizontally as it should when you slide out the qwerty on the side, which left me with the ability to text on the LCD screen by dialpad which sucks and is slow. Obviously without the qwerty working right, this phone is not good for texting. I too love the phone, but I will have to trade for something else as I bought it to text and I am having no luck. I also called AT&T yesterday and asked if they were having any issues with this specific problem to try and determine if I should get a new phone. Customer service said they didn't see any updates for it...possibly not enough issues or complaints have been received to have technical staff spend efforts to try and figure out what is wrong. I'm planning on getting a different phone. My husband got the Samsung Impression which has the qwerty and is slightly bigger. He hasn't had many issues...he did have any issue with his sim card, he had to reformat it, but works good now. It is a shame cause I liked the Xenon LG when it worked.
