im planning on getting one tomorrow but i dont know if i can get insurance on it i had the treo and they wouldnt let me get insurance. anyone know if insurance is aloud?

No, you cannot insure the iPhone through AT&T. Your best bet is to look for a third party solution, or contact your homeowner's or renter's insurance about a rider for the device. And no, I do not know how much that would cost. pebsrocksursocks wrote:

That is incorrect. Insurance and Apple's extended warranty are not the same. If you lose the phone or it gets stolen, the extended warranty will not cover it.
