If you are trying to tether a BB to a laptop, are you dialing from the PC or the BB? Where did you get instructions from Cingular? I thought their take on this was it wasn't possible.

That is interesting. Those look very close to the instructions I followed, but I never could get it to work. Came close, but gave up. I would like to use it when on vacation as a backup because some hotels don't have HighSpeed, charge allot or it just doesn't work.
maybe I will follow these instructions and see where they get me.
