Just got the Blackjack 2. Does anyone know if you can use the gps with Google Maps if you don't have a data plan ? Or if the gps will work with other maps.

Not sure why you'd get this particular phone without a data plan. Google maps will eat a lot of data ... with or with the GPS on. Get a data plan or you're going to get a really nasty surprise at the end of the month. The GPS can work without a connection of any kind with a stand alone piece of software like "Garmin Mobile XT" for example
