When we bought our At&T 3G cell phones we were told that AT&T offer the best coverage and we were sold. Once we arrive at our new house and neighborhood, we were told they have Verizon because AT&T had little to no rerception and my wife is a doctor who is on call via her cell phone, this could be a life and death situation if she is on call and does not receive the call due to no reception, we live in Chester, Va and not in the boonies. Well after two calls to AT&T help desk, then with the supervisor, we were told that we would get a Microcell to boost our cell phone for 200 dollars and a rebate coupon for 100. Even after staying on the phone for 45 minutes with the first operator and then another 35 with the last operator and no help from the supervisor after I waited 20 minutes for her to answer the phone. Even I went to an AT&T store prior to these call and after I said I lived in Stoney Glen, they said you should switch to Verizon and AT&T has the false pretense to said they offer the best coverage, what a rip off. Verizon should come to my neighborhood and do a commercial!!!

I have spoken to ATT customer service several times over the past couple of years about the poor service at my home in Littleton Colorado. Their option is to buy the microcell plus pay a monthly service fee. I was even told by one of their service rep to go with a different phone company. I think that a customer who have five cell phones on the account would get a better option like a free microcell. They would rather lose a long time customer than provide better service. This is pretty sad!!! Maybe I will take their customer service advice and go with a different carrier. Thanks for not helping!!!

You do have to pay the monthly fee to get the rebate. For the rebate to go through you must, at time of rebate acceptance, be paying ATT $20 a month for unlimited microcell calling. So, to get your $100 rebate you have to give ATT $40-$60 before you even get the rebate. WE WERE NEVER TOLD ABOUT THIS BY THE REP AT THE STORE. When they hand you a piece of paper go ahead and waste 30min of your time and theirs reading every detail and asking them why they didn't tell you about these clauses. That way there are no suprises. This rebate is not for $100 because you have to spend extra money (we can't use all our minutes as it is) just to get the rebate.
