Remote party can not hear me over microcell

Anywhere from 5-10 minutes into a call, the remote party can not hear me. I can hear them, but hear a constant "Hello? Hello?". I hang up and call back only to have the issue repeat itself again.

Has anyone else had this issue? Why couldn't AT&T have just gone with UMA like T-Mobile? I never had issues with UMA.
