Hey all,
My daughter has an iPhone with a 200M data plan. I've set all the smart limits I can on broswing and downloads, but somehow it keeps renewing her data plan anyway.
I'd like her data to just be inaccessible if she uses up her data plan. How do I get AT&T to stop auto renewing her plan when she runs out?
Thanks,
Brett

I am in almost the same boat as you. After a lengthy discussion on the phone with AT&T, there is basically no way to have my child's iphone with unlimited data (as I am grandfathered on) or a limited amount of data where when the plan data is used up, no data can be used until the following month. Smartphones can not have data limited.
I think this is a lousy deal for parents. The work around AT&T told me was to educate my child on data usage and use wifi when possible and for us to just monitor the usage. Great...like I have time for that. (insert sarcasm here).
I swear, AT&T makes it hard to be their customer.
