I have been trying to log in to the smart limits site from att.com/mywirelessfor the past 3 days to manage it, it does not work.
IS it broken because of the completely un needed redisign of the main site? It doesnt even try to log me in, it sends me back to my account to log in again, and try again.
I NEED to manage my smart limits phone. I have someone harassing my daughter

Hi, martyllian - We really understand your frustration. Please try calling customer care to have one of our representatives manage the Smart Limits settings on your behalf. They'll have access to the Smart Limits system. Hope that works for you!

No they cannot help you.
I just spoke with someone in the tech department who had no ability to assist me. In part due to a poor grasp of the English language and {Please keep it courteous} I have become accustomed to dealing with incompetent customer service representatives; however, today was special enough that I decided to comment.
I've called twice now. The second time I was instructed to manage the limits via the internet. After multiple attempts to communicate that this was indeed the nature of my call, the representative hung up on me.
Thank you Att for proving that you are no better than anyone else in customer service.

I just got into my Smart limits... At the very top of this forum page click on Wireless Home, then mouse over My AT&T, then Wireless, click on SmartLimits. That opens your Smart Limits page and you should be able to change or do anything to it.

The web access to Smart Limits was down for almost 2 weeks. I discovered it when I tried to log on the morning of the 5th. My son was out of town and I was trying to remove the restrictions. This whole experience was VERY aggravating and came at a bad time! Two calls to customer service and one chat later over the span of almost 2 weeks got me nowhere except a courtesy $25 credit on my account for all the trouble this caused. I finally had to cancel the feature just so my son could make a call! Each time I talked to someone they couldn't tell me when the site would be back up, and I got different stories. Get this, a few days ago someone from Tech Support finally called me to follow up and said Smart Limits had expired on my account on 5/18! These people are clueless...how was I able to manage my son's phone restrictions up until June 5th if it was already expired, for pete's sake!
According to my bill I had paid thru 6/16. I've been with AT&T since before the Cingular days, but it won't take much more before I'm ready to switch.

I too have been trying to access smart limits for over 2 weeks with no success. Its the same error page everytime and calling in to the support staff does no good as they are getting the same error page. I do understand work is being done to the site but for over two weeks? I really don't want to drop this feature but at the same time I am getting disgusted at paying for it and not being able to use it.

I too have been having this problem for multiple weeks. I'm at my wits end at this point as I need to remove some restrictions from my son's account since he is now on summer vacation. 2 calls to customer service have netted me no results. The first ended in someone telling me that the service rep would notify his supervisor who would enter a service ticket, but that I could not get a name of the person, or the service ticket on the website, or any idea of when someone would look at this. My second call yielded a very helpful gentleman, who tried for almost a half hour to access the website to make the changes for me, but he was consistently kicked out of the website and was unable to make the changes. So far, no one has been willing to even credit my account "The feature is working, we're sorry you can't access the CONTROLS, but the feature is in place." I have to say that this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and AT&T will likely be losing a customer of 10+ years.
AT&T should be ashamed at this customer experience.

I've been fighting this for a few days as well. Kids are out of school and I need to change restrictions. Very frustrating.
After some more exploring I found a way in. At the top of the new page if you select the my AT&T tab, then hover your mouse over Wireless, then carefully go to the right there is a section called For Your Security. The second link down is called Smart Limits which will let you manage your limits.
I tried to post an image of this, but it said my post was too long.

I didn't realize they STILL hadn't fixed the website for Smart Limits! I should've checked here before signing up again. I just tried your work around and I get an error. I'm starting to count the days until September when I can go to another provider! ![]()

I have had to same issues!! The workaround doesn't work for me. In the past I have had to remove the feature and add it back to get it to work but today even that will not work for me....very frustrated and customer support can not seem to figure out the issue ugh!

I'm sorry there is difficulty in finding the SmartLimits information since AT&T's updates to site navigation. I'd love some more details around what you're seeing (or not seeing) so I can better understand where the difficulty is.
You can always access your SmartLimits through this link: https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute?p
You can also manage your SmartLimits from the dashboard when you login to att.com. Here's a screenshot of what that looks like: (note, this is a screen shot from a single line plan)

The workaround is not working and when I try to access it with the directions given above I get this error. This has been happening for about a week or more now. I need to access the smart limits.

ADMINISTRATOR:
You have been given the information and the screen shot of what is happening with the Smart Limits website. Why is it still down?
Let's talk refunds of the monthly fee. Get it fixed or I will just cancel all together.

Same problem here - I get the same message about trying later that the screen shot a few messages above shows.
Is AT&T planning on fixing this problem or is the plan to continue charging customers for something they are not getting?

After trying unsuccessfully for the past 3 days to manage my smart limits and a totally worthless exchange with customer service yesterday via live chat, I seem to have found an alternative entry that works. I had been using the link from the banner at the top of the account overview page - hover on MyATT->Wireless->Enhanced Services->Smart Limits and I got a new page with a message saying there are temporary problems. Customer care said there was a known problem but no estimate as to when it would be fixed. She told me I could come back to support chat to check on the status. With that sort of response, there would be no advantage over just trying to access the feature myself.
Today, while trying to find the best way to contact customer service to complain again, I used the "I want to" dropdown menu from the account overview page and found a link for Manage my features->Manage AT&T Smart Limits. This brought me to a working page to change my smart limits settings. Why the link from the banner can't point to the same place and why customer care couldn't explain that there was a way to get to the working page I have no idea. Perhaps this will work for others.
