My son recently replaced his pool soaked iPhone 4S with the Nokia Lumina 900. Now we cannot locate him on the AT&T Family Map. I personally checked his location services and all other settings that could affect this and everything seems to be in order.
I can still find my younger son's old RAZR phone with no problem.
Anybody else have this issue or know a solution?? Calling AT&T for support is a last resort and something I'd prefer not to do.
Thanks,
JHuffBrew

Thanks for your reply to my post. According to AT&T, first an attempt is made to locate using GPS and if that fails, then it triangulates. Note sure exactly what your answer means - can you clarify?

My issue is it automatically restarts the phone that I am tracking whenever I hit locate. I put the tracked phone next to my phone and select locate. As soon as it starts, the tracked phone reboots itlself. This just started yesterday. I am still on the trial period. I saw on the android forum, there's an emulator had the same issue when sending gps information. My tracked phone is a Motorola ATRIX 4G.
