I'll be on my trip tomorrow and I already activated the International Roaming and 20MB Data package for my iPhone. But I'm kind of confuse with how AT&T bill text/picture/video messages. I have unlimited messages plan here in the U.S. If I understand correctly, any text msg I received while roaming should be free because it counts toward my domestic unlimited messages plan. But what about receiving picture/video messages? On AT&T website, I found two webpages that says different things.
On this one, it says picture/video msg received will not incur any data charge and counts toward domestic package, which should be free because I have unlimited package and it's not going to use up the 20MB Int. Data package.
But on this page, it says it'll count toward the data package or it'll be $0.30 pay-per-use.
So which one is true? Anyone uses picture/video message while roaming?

MMS and SMS are not considered data. You are not charged to received SMS (text messages) if you have an unlimited text message plan. Apparently, reading that link you are charged for MMS messages.
20 megs is pretty light for iPhone usage. Remember voicemails come out of data on iPhones. I signed up for a Free Google Voice application and forward my phone to it. I get my voicemails as emails and make the decision whether to play them. You can send and receive text messages out of data (albeit from a different phone number). Google doesn't support MMS yet.
