What sort of coverage is there in the Caribbean from AT&T between Puerto Rico down to Grenada? I'd perhaps buy a phone if it would work consistantly down there.

Puerto Rico & the USVI has excellent native at&t coverage that is included in all plans. For any other countries coverage is available at a roaming rate that varies by country. See this link for rates and locations covered:
