texting feature gone

We have the family talk plan with two phones.

I enabled the unlimited texting bundle for my husband's phone, he decided he didn't want it so I removed the feature. Now he can't send or recieve text messages. I looked on the add features list for the limited 20 cent per text feature, but it isn't there. I still have text messaging but he doesn't. What's going on? Am I missing something?

Normally on the family pan they enable the family testing plan and not the individual - how did you remove the texting option from your husband's phone? If you used text block feature then that is the reason
