I just wanted to see if I was alone or if everyone was having these issues.
1. While using earphones and a notification comes in, for 1 second after the notification ends whatever I am listening to plays through the phone speaker before it reverts back to the earphones.
2. WiFi fades in and out, I cannot find a reason when or why. I have seen it connect and disconnect at home, work and an ATT hotspot.
3. Cell reception seems to not be as good as it was with my Note. I have very little cell signal at my house and with my Note I could still get 1 bar around the house. With the SIII I basically have no signal anywhere in my house. (For the most part a deal breaker)
4. Since my purchase Friday 7/6 my lock screen has been unresponsive about 7 or 8 times but only for about 4 or 5 seconds after waking up the screen.
I will admit, this phone is by far the fastest and smoothest phone I have had to date and I would think most of these issues seem to be software related except maybe the reception issue. But even that could be solved with a new radio possibly.
I just wanted to post this to see if anyone else is having the same issues.
Thanks,
mwjack

I'm pretty sure that I noticed #2 the other day. I said that I needed to do more testing to see if this happened in other places because when it happened, I was standing near a spot that is a known black-hole for our work Wi-fi signal. With my Wi-fi service at home being out for a week due to storms, I haven't had a chance to check everything.

1. Yes I have noticed it, but I also noticed it when i had my Galaxy Nexus....must be a Samsung phone thing...not a big bother to me though
2. Hmmmm havent really noticed that, but I feel at times my Wifi signal isnt as strong as it should be
3. Probably depends on your location, but then again it could be a radio issue, I have better signal here than I did with my G Nexus and iPhone 4 so i can't complain lol
4. Hmmmmm never noticed that...do you have a lot of widgets or background apps running?

I have about 25 apps installed and only the stock weather widget running.
Also, I just received an update @10:30 this am that was 10.75mb. Maybe this will fix some of my issues. Thanks for the input.

That update will remove the universal search on the phone (The google search bar) due to Apple lawsuits on Samsung....not really worth the update

I also have issues with Wifi signal, it seems much weaker than it should. The other issues listed I am not seeing.
A big problem I have had the last few days is excessive battery loss. I have read about some people's S3's batteries lasting 1.5-2 days on a charge. Mine, only about 12-hours, with limited-to-no usage.

After a quick Google search I realized the update was a bad idea. Should have looked it up first LOL.
As far as battery goes. I sit at a desk all day so its nothing for me to just keep it plugged up all day while at work. I wouldn't be a good candidate to test the battery either because of such a weak signal (if any) at home. I understand a weak signal puts a lot of strain on the power consumption.
Thanks,
mwjack
WiFi update: I just noticed that I have used 10mb of data this morning at work. I shouldn't have used any since I am connected to my works WiFi. I have checked all of the settings for the wifi, it is set to never shut off when the screen shuts off. So something strange is happening unless I have something running that won't update over wifi. I have the same apps installed I had on my Note and didn't have this problem.

Get this app called "Onavo Data Monitor", it tells you exactly what app is taking your data, and can even stop data usage for specific apps...WORTH IT
