AT&T Please Unlock My SGSIII!

I tried to get the unlock code for my Galaxy S III and was told that it was not eligible to be unlocked. Since this is not an exclusive device, we should be able to get these unlocked immediately if we have been a customer for the required length of time or paid full price.

I thought that the 90 days was for time as a customer, not time with the phone.

I bought a Skyrocket at the full unsubsidized retail price from AT&T, and they refused to give me the code, telling me that I had to wait 6 months before it would be available. The next time I decide to buy a phone at the full price, it won't be from AT&T.

OK, the reply that I got was that I can't get it unlocked because this is an exclusive device. How is the Samsung Galaxy S III exclusive to AT&T?

They probably have some bunk loophole, such as the model number with AT&T's LTE radio makes it "exclusive".

I was able to unlock my GS2 with an app from the Google Play store...maybe there will be one for the GS3
