Should I just cancel? ATT Manager claims no one above her can fix my problem with my HTC Inspire which recently received a software update. The software update messed up my reception quality, texts get stuck in the switch, and also annoying randomly when I receive texts it only displays phone number not name of sender. Talked to a tech and waiting for fix. Called and asked specifically for retention department, and all I got was a manager trying to sell me an ATT Fusion for 129 or any GoPhone at normal price. Really? Any of you know where I can go to get better resolution. I'm stuck!!!!!!!

I have done a factory reset, and all it fixed was re-registering me to the towers which allowed texts and alerts to reach my phone that had not and were stuck out there somewhere.
Update: Good news! Tried one more call to ATT and received an awesome and fair resolution. They allowed me to choose any phone I want except iPhone and simply pay 2 year price for NEW device. That's all I wanted to begin with on my first call, but Manager stood her ground. This call was very short, and Manager wanted to do his/her job and allowed rep to do this for me. Could not be happier about this resolution. Chose a Nokia Lumia 900 for 49.99 due to reviews I read. Wish me luck!
