Atrix battery life [ Edited ]

I'm coming from a Tilt 2, but so far I think the battery life is great on the Atrix. What do you guys think? I easily went throughout the day with heavy internet, and talking, I think on normal use I get at least 2 days...

I must be doing something wrong.  My battery barely lasts 4 hours, even while "asleep.

I'm using "stock" settings, the way it was set up when I bought it. Make sure wifi or gps settings are off and try again.

From the store, I let it drain completely and fully recharged...didn't even last for 4 hours.  it was set to night saver and I didn't turn off anything.  I hardly used the phone and I only had pandora running maybe for that 4 hrs and a lot of text messaging.

I have it drain (2x) to when it shuts down itself and charge it fully.. and at 4 hrs only 20% left.

aside from that, plugging it to any pc (laptop or desktop) does not even get any charge at all.

I can't  even find a battery on motorola's or att's website to buy..  the others that i saw was for the droid which has a lower capacity -1230 mah

I have had the same poor battery life experience. I don't have Pandora or anything else running, veeery limited internet/data usage, bluetooth, wifi, and gps all turned off, and 6 calls totaling 30 minutes yesterday (2/24/11) and was at 20% battery life in ~10 hours!!

This is NOT what I expected out of this phone and battery, and WILL return it if At&t cannot provide a new battery that provides the 9 hours talk time and 250 hours standby time advertised!!!!

I don’t use gps (naviation) much, or internet radio either. But with the talk time and browsing I had no prblems. I will test again to see if those dains it faster, already dowloaded Pandora

Give it a week or so to get it calibrated.

Does anyones battery get pretty warm after just a few minutes of continued use? My battery is lasting less then 6hours. Not sure if there is an issue with my phone

Yesterday at the end of the day I had 30% left. This includes: 35 mins google nav (nav and bluetooth on- paired with my car's bluetooth), 40 mins of talk, aprox 1.5 hours of angry birds and about 1 hour of web browsing. The mattery doesn't get much hotter than my tilt's 2. I carged it through the night (aprox 8 hours)...

Forgot to mention 30 mins of yahoo messenger with wifi on.

It's better on the Atrix than the Captivate.  I do have to recharge often, though.  (I can get down to 30% in one day with minor~medium usage.)

My battery has been getting progressively stronger.  I still carry the charger with me, just in case.  But I'm getting through moderate use in a day and end up spending a few hours playing Angry Birds to kill it and charge it from Zero.  I hope this "curing" theory works.

My battery is lasting about 20 hours with my normal use.  I use wifi off and on through the day, and occassionally the AT&T data network when I am on the road.  I have even used GPS on occassion.  My talk time is probably minimal compared to most.  Maybe an hour or two a day.  The only thing that KILLS my battery life is apps.  When my kids play games, it has a very short life!  Get an app killer that will turn off all apps running in the background, I find it helps.  I also manually turn off wifi and turn it on each and everytime I use my phone in addition to data running in the background.  I never had a 'modern' smart phone and this is my first touch screen, so for me, it really isn't an inconvenience.  Just one of those things you have to do, just as if you were leaving your computer.  Put it to sleep!

I find that having 2 batteries helps a lot.
