I have a feeling I may have to return my unit, but it appears my Captivate has a problem with the camera. In the live preview screen and photos taken with the unit, a small black irregular speck appears in the image. Here's a sample picture taken with the Captivate camera:
This isn't an issue with the external lense; I have cleaned it carefully, and it is only visible when the camera application is running. Any suggestions?
I'm guess I'm going to have to exchange it at the store if it's an internal failure.

I certainly hope I not expected to pay a restocking fee for exchanging a defective product for a properly functioning product, especially in less than 24 hours!

I was able to exchange the unit yesterday for a new device without a restocking penalty. Thanks to Carrie at my AT&T store.
