Data Usage has INCREASED tremendously, no change in my use [ Edited ]

I haven't read the response to your post but I have had exactly the same problem!! I am so frustrated, same thing at odd hours of night , crazy data usage. I turned my phone off tonight & its also my home phone as I am at 90% usage and I still have till the 27th of this month!!!!!  I got to 70% usage first or 2nd day of the billing cycle, so I barely use the phone. The same thing happened to me in December, . I have a 2GB plan which for me is fine but with these crazy charges I may have to pay more for usage that I don't use its crazy! Also I did like the ATT & t rep suggested to turn off running apps, but why when I turn them off the same app shows running a minute or so later, also what should I turn off, what apps should be left running?????

any advice would be appreciated,   I have a Motorola 4g Atrix. As anyone can tell this is my first smartphone & I feel anything but smart, any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

If you are posting about a Motorola Atrix you might want to post here   http://forums.wireless.att.com/t5/Motorola/bd-p/motorola  instead of in the iPhone forum.  

Also, there are MULTIPLE threads concerning data usage. May I suggest using the "search" function and actually reading the threads. You will more than likely find the answers you are looking for.
