Galaxy S3 battery issues?

So I have had my S3 for a few days now and my phone only lasts about 5-6 hours of light use before dropping pretty fast. I have installed the free verison of Juice Defender and still my battery doesn't last very long. Anyone else running into issues?

I am expecting to get by from 7am-7pm on light use with about 30% left...Is this too much to ask for??

- Whats your brightness level? Make sure to keep it at about 10%, its still visible (This is usually the cause for most battery drainage...DO NOT use auto brightness that wastes battery)

- How many apps do u have running in the background?

- Make sure your apps that update only update hourly and not every 15 min...apps that update too frequently waste battery

My battery lasts 1 day and some change in a full use...almost a day and a half

My battery lasts me the whole day (with quite a bit left before I charge it at bedtime), even through the period of setting up my new phone.

Thanks for your posts....I did a hard reset of my phone - took out the battery and installed the ultimate version of Juice Defender and my phone lasts all day with no problems! I use it frequently and my brightness is around 24%. However I am more aware of running applications and kill them before turning off..
