Odd.. I just checked for software updates.... it said.. one is available but was busy and would have to try again later.
My version is 2.3.6
baseband version is i777UCKK6
kernel 2.6.35.7
build gingerbread.UCKK6
However... just for kicks, I hit software update again (forgetting about the wait) and said software is up to date, try checking in 23hrs.
So..is there a new update out? ICS maybe?

The built-in updater sometimes flakes out...
There's nothing in the pipes that's ready for release. I777 UCLD3 is the latest ICS leak, and AT&T is utterly stupid if they release it - it seems to have the same dangerous MMC driver as recent GT-N7000 leaks, SPH-D710 leaks, and the Korean SHW-M250S/K/L official releases. These have a major kernel bug that can permanently damage the storage chip in the phone, requiring a full motherboard replacement.
