Just out of curiosity, are we going to see an at&t version of this Cadillac? I hope so because I played with it already and this unit is great and swift. I know that there's a European version that has 850mhz data frequency that could work on at&t's network but it would be best to have it a world phone 850/1900/2100 mhz (3G).

I believe AT&T is simply skipping HD2 and waiting for first dip on Windows Phone 7.

The HD2 is a T-Mo exclusive. The HD3, however, is rumored to land on ATT...only time will tell.

What about the Evo that sprint announced? thats basically an HD2.... Kinda throws the whole tmobile exclusive thing out the window. ATT should hopefully release something built along those lines, no?? By June or July right?

The Evo is an Android phone. If it was exactly like the HD2 and running WinMo, then you can say that the tmo exclusive is out the window, but since it's a different phone, the HD2 can still be classified as exclusive to them. But maybe that's splitting hairs.

As for expecting an AT&T version of this in June or July? That sounds like wishful thinking to me. How long after the Touch Pro and Touch Pro 2 came out before AT&T got the Fuze and Tilt 2? And if Apple is indeed releasing a new phone this summer and AT&T has exclusive rights to it, do you honestly believe that AT&T will be bringing out the latest WinMo or Android phones? Seriously.

Don't count on any "hot" phones coming to at&t until they lose the exclusive rights to the iphone.

I'm sure at&t had to sell its soul to get the iPhone, and part of that I'm sure means no really "gotta have" phones, like the droid, HD2 etc...
