HTC One X touch screen issues.

So, I bought this phone less than a week ago. It's been all great, no issues, and all of a sudden my screen keeps opening things I don't touch, or becomes unresponsive. I enabled the touch dot to see where it was doing it, and it just keeps tapping by itself constantly about the center of the screen. I can't move apps from the bottom of the page to the upper half or anything. I tried a factory reset and nothing. It gets better, I went to the ATT store where I got the phone, and they want to charge me a $35 fee for exchanging the defective phone that they gave me. I was so happy to be rid of my Atrix, as it too was defective, but nobody would help me then either.

Bottom line, does anybody have any suggestions or anything? I really don't know what to do anymore.
