ICS upgrade for LG Nitro Timeline?

LG has released the ICS upgrade for the LG P930 (Nitro HD). What's the expected timeline for ATT to roll out the upgrade to subscribers? I purchased this device based on assurances from both LG and ATT that it would be getting the ICS upgrade in January 2012. Understandably, I'm a bit tired of waiting, and the OTA update in February that prevented rooting the phone has not helped.

Yes! I agree with you, Brinstead! The LG has a beautiful display that COSUMES battery so much, and I've read that many phones that have ICS show signs of improved batter life. Where is ICS, AT&T ?

I'd love to have the ICS upgrade.  Great phone so far, but I think it would be even better with ICS. 

Come on, ATT...release the hounds, er, update!

The fact that AT&T locked the phone down (unrootable) does not bode well for us Nitro users. I've spent a lot of time on LG's forum, and they keep saying that the ICS update is ready, with lots of fixes. AT&T has it in there "lab" preparing it for release. I personally think that AT&T will NEVER release the update, hoping that desperate customers like us will buy one of their watered down ICS phones (HTC OneX/ Samsung Galaxy S3) instead. You know, the phones that should have quad core processors and gobs of memory,but have been downgraded to dual core for the sake of LTE. Think about It. If the Nitro had ICS, it would be a dual core LTE device with a 4.5 in. HD screen, very similar spec wise to the HTC OneX and the Galaxy S3. Oh, and it can be purchased off contract for under $300.00. I'm sure that wouldn't hurt sales for AT&T's newest LTE offerings.  How sad is it when China Mobile offers better devices and more current os's than ALL the carriers in the United States?!

ICS for the Nitro might be coming out later this week / end of July.

I was told by a upper level tech bout 2 weeks ago when I was having issues that ICS was planned to roll out at very end of July 2012.  This tech likem e sounded like he knew what he was spekaing of.  But he did say ya should start seeing the update pushed out at very end of this month.  Now that was two weeks ago and we all know things change so who knows only time will tell.

Thanks for the info! I'll keep watching, and hoping. Reading on the XDA forums that the korean ICS is pretty much stock, which would be awesome...

The Nitro Ics update will be july 31.

i bought a lg nitro hd last december, im from colombia, when i arrive a my country and start the phone i had a surprise, ´security error¨pleased help meeee. i have tried restarting OS 4.0.3 but the phone no responding, the telephone dont accept flash mode... what i can do???? somebody whit this mistake??? thanks
