When I first got my Atrix I thought I was in love!! Now... my Motorola Atrix started power cycling, randomly shutting down whether I was using the phone or not. Started about a month ago and just kept getting worse. I have been given 2 replacement phones since and both of them have done the same thing and soon as I started using them. I still have the second replacement phone that does not work.... Each time I call AT&T I get a different response. My phone was still under the MFG warranty. I really like AT&T and I know this isnt their fault. Crappy devices happen... What do I need to do to get a phone that works?? Anybody???

My Galaxy Nexus used to reboot on its own and it was so baffling, but I figured it out!
I was using the app "Juice Defender" which was a battery saving app, and that was causing my phone to restart probably because it was using a lot fo ram...maybe there is app running in the background that is taking up a lot of ram or memory which is causing your phone to do that

I dont even have apps on my phone right now, they have me do a factory reset everytime I call. This is the 3rd replacement Atrix they have sent me.... Im actually on the phone with them right now. The last rep told me if this one doesnt work they will send me a new model phone. This rep that I am on the phone with now says that they can't give me a new model. They are going to send me a 4th refurbished (and probably defective) Atrix.
Sick of the back and forth. Good customer service usually results with a happy customer.
I wish I was happy right now.....

If only that were an option. I can't upgrade to a different phone for another year and no way I am going to pay for a smart phone at retail price. I shouldn't pay out of pocket for receiving a defective phone in my opinion. But I hear the Samsung is a sweet phone and definitely on my list for my next upgrade.

No luck. I have had it sent back like 5 or 6 times. ATT passed me off to Motorola and they are just as bad. Its ridiculous!
I hope ATT techs read this. They are a joke.
