I work in a very noisy area... mutiple phones ringing.... co-workers in a small area... I can hear my Galaxie ring on an incoming call... but all the notifications for a text come in dreadfully low... I have all the sound settings at their highest, and the box is checked to raise the volume if the phone detects it's in my pocket. I did not have this problem with the iPhone. I got a very loud "Ding" which everybody in the multiple office heard. Some of my business is conducted through texts... which I am missing because I don't hear them come in. Is there somewhere I can download super loud notifications... or can I record the loud ones from my iPhone and put them into the notification folder ??? It must be an Android thing as I returned a HTC One X which had the same issue. Any Help Would Be Appreciated !!!
Have A Nice Night All !!!

If you want to make the sound louder on your phone, get the "Volume+" app from the Google Play app store. It makes all the sounds on your phone from the ringer to the notifications much louder...just adjust the level you want
Even though the description says you need a Cyagen mod, it does work on the stock android because I have tried it before and it really works well! Its worth purchasing to me for only .99 cents, but there is a free one.
OR
if you do not want to use that, just find another louder sound to use. You can choose another sound from the sound list or download this app called "Zedge" which allows you to search and download LOTS of different notification sounds and ringtones str8 to your phone for use

Hi All...
Just as a side note.... I recorded the iphone notification sound I wanted onto the Galaxie S III with the Voice Recorder. After docking to my computer I found the sound file and moved it to the Sounds folder. I then set the sound as the notification for Text messages. LOL... And it actually worked. Boy, is it loud... It is amazing... had to turn the sound down from 10 to 6 in Volume+ !!
