I'm long time Blackberry user & just switched to the Note. I needed a new phone and loved the size of the Note vs the IPhone. (note- I'm not super technical!)
I've noticed several problems after 1 week- my emails sent from the phone are sending in duplicate. I use this phone for work so this is definitely a problem! Also emails that I send from my laptop do not show up on my phone email.
Re: phone- the phone does not display missed calls or that I have voicemail waiting. I've had many phones in the past and they've all displayed this. Am I missing something here?
Also, there seems to be a problem with receiving MMS msges. I received one yesterday saying "one or more of the message componencts have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal"
Also a friend just sent a text with an icon and the icon is not displayed (which I expected from my old blackberry but not from a new phone!
Any insights/suggestions appreciated!

My refurbished note doesn't play video emails sent from my wifes iphone 4s. And they cannot fix this...

I"m having the same exact problems here. Apparantly the *** at AT&t don't look like they have a solution to this.
I just got my Note and if these nit wits can't fix it, back it goes and I leave AT&T.
I hope the birdbrains who run this company realize what's coming. Millions of iPhone 4 users will coming up to renew contracts and if they can't work out as something as simple as fixing duplicate email problems when people move to Android, down the sewer hole they and their company will go.
I a livid over the crap support I've gotten from AT&T since I got this phone. They don't know jack about these phones or the Andorid OS and for this they want me to pay a premium for monthly service AND commit to another two years of servic when I can walk in and pay 45 bucks a month instead of the 130 I am paying them now?
They must be drunk under the tables up at AT&T headquarters if they think that's the case.
I am reading nightmares about this issue on other forums. They just can't seem to get it straightened out. People report it going away than coming back again.
I've been dealing with this for 3 days trying to fix it and the time I'm going to waste on it is about over.
