How do I unsubscribe from this ridiculous thread?

All we do is complain and all the AT&T employee forum posters troll - it's stupid.

I guarantee that as soon as I get close to a reasonable ETF, I'm leaving AT&T and going back to Sprint where the staff know how to treat the customer - I've already opened a new business line with them since all of this nonsense started - I have no intention of giving AT&T any more of my business, personal or otherwise - I must have been out of my mind - but now, I've learned (through this forum's negative reinforcement) that no one should sign up with this idiotic company.

Ahhhhh Com'on goingocean, don't go. That's what this forum is about... Maybe not what it's intended for, but what it's turned out to be. There's what, 10-20 people here complaining? Put that against the millions(?) of Note owners, 99% percent of us are happy go lucky. Truth is, it takes time for ATT to get their bloat working correctly on these ROMS. And the Note especially, with the pen and all. Not to mention all the other updates they are working on. I'm not trying to defend ATT, but truth is, they are mostly the same. And with Sprint... Well, there's no comparison. You get what you pay for. But, to each his own.

yeah all the international version has ICS long be4, n now this year Q3 they are analyzing n experiment ICS for those device. so insulting for usa as it is the leading country in this earth. first new technology first announce n available in usa n some some world countries only. But see, year is gona end n till now they r eating grass only n experimenting ICS which is long be4 available internationally. LOL

Well the international version came out 4 months before the att model so if you go by the same standards another month or two wait for ICS is on par with that phone

Note was announced in this earth only, not other places. So while it was available internationally, count down should start from that time. while selling these stuff also the reps of AT&T assured the customers that within 2/3 months its gona have ICS. so much lies and customer harassment in AT&T is happening that is too rough for a well reputed so big telecommunication company

All AT&T has to do is to communicate when they are releasing ICS and update that date if it slips.
That is not hard at all, if resources are applied to it.

Sprint? Goingocean...i gotta admit. That was a good joke. Sprint is already getting sued for overcharging taxes thats exactly when they offer roaming free service since they cant get their service everywherebut later verizon is sendin you a bill for $200 throw sprint. And calling their customer support is like calling india: hollo! Haw mey i halp yo? Ticky tick!!!

LOL - oh, please - I travel all over the US and never run into an issue with Sprint not having coverage and have never been charged for roaming.

The ONLY reason I opened a line of service with AT&T was because they had the Note and no one else did - as it stands, if I get really cranky, I'll sell my international Note at a profit and cancel the line with AT&T - I'm not that attached to any cell phone.

On Sprint's customer service, I never get someone who sounds like they're in a different country - maybe they are - but you can't tell - or maybe I'm just not a bigot.  The reps I've dealt with have all been great and very helpful.  I regretted leaving them for AT&T almost the moment I did it.

Lol JFiz...I found that remark funny too. I'm guessing the complaint is the inability to understand the overseas CSR. I have the same complaint... I don't care about their nationality, I just want to be able to understand what they are saying. <shrug> maybe I AM a bigot. Never thought of it that way.

Q2 of 2012 is going to end soon. but its really disappointing matter, no time frame or hope about ICS. They are only replying p ICS testing is going on Note n some other smartphones, very soon or, soon it'll be announced. its seems Note owners are loosing attraction abt AT&T & it's ICS and also the AT&T not making any sound about ICS for Note.

Chalk me up as another unhappy/ angry customer who feels ripped off by ATT (and Samsung).

I purchased my Galaxy Note in March on a new contract as I switched from Verizon after having debated between switching to ATT or T-Mobile. At the time it had been announced that that the ATT Galacy Note would be updated to ICS by the end of Q1. Then they pushed the date to Q2 and blamed it on some S-Pen apps (which I will probably rarely, if ever, use). 

Now its Q3 and the Galaxy Note has already been announced for T-Mobile. Worst of all, the T-Mo variant will come pre-loaded with ICS! How's that for a smack in the face!

And then of course Jelly Bean is on the horizon. How many years before the Note gets updated to that? Or will it? <doubting>

I wish I could email ATT top complain but I can't find anywhere on their websiote to do so. Their contact page is deceptive at best with its many options but not a single one (that I could find) leads you to an actual contact page where you can email them.

I should have waited for the GSIII. Or switched to T-Mobile. Maybe I'll do that when my contract is up. After all, one of the main reasons I switched to ATT was their LTE, which they claimed was turned on in Los Angeles but failed to mention that it was not on (and still isn't) in the San Fernando Valley. By the time my contract is up T-Mobile will have LTE Advanced rolled out.

It's Q3 and still nothing. I too was promised Ics soon in march when I bought the thing. Jelly Bean is here now SIII is here. I feel cheated. Pay 300 and get no support, just move on to the next big phone att! Forget about your current subscribers who cares! You have them for 2 years in contract! How about a trade then for the new S3? All att cares about is new money

why would you think AT&T would go straight to JB? and even more importantly why would they be faster delivering JB than they have been on ICS?

To add to it I'm guessing each generation of the OS that comes out will be more and more unlikely to be released by carrier?

Does nayone know if AT&T has done 2 major releases for an Android phone so far?

I looked at rooting it last night....scary and confusing stuff...like flash counter and seemingly a GPS bug in 4.0.4.

by the way I am willing to wait for them to get the up date right. I think they rushed the sgh-i777 update and it is now freezing phones so hold your horses or I think you will regret the update.
