Unlocking HTC Inspire

I have an HTC Inspire phone that I bought from Radio Shack as an upgrade on my ATT service plan. Is it possible to get this phone unlocked in order to use it with other cell phone provders? I have had the phone for a year now.

Just call AT&T customer service and request the SIM unlock code. As long as the device has been released for at least 10 months (Inspire is 15 months) and you are a postpaid account holder in good standing for at least 90 days, they have to give it to you, per AT&T policy.
