I have seen that before. I think if your post carries the thread to a new page, it occurs. Basically, after you post, the forum takes you to the message you "replied" to, and if that's on a different page of the thread than your post is on, you won't see your own post.

Yep. When you post and you don't see it in the thread your post is the first one in the new page.

I do not have any problems with the drop down menus in the orange bar or the blue forums bar below using FF. The main menus and sub menus open then close as soon as I move the pointer away. Normally if something can go wrong I will stumble on it with out trying.
I am an AT&T employee and the postings on this site are my own and don't necessarily represent AT&T's position, strategies or opinion.

No problems using IE 8.

IE8 works fine for me as well. No biggie.

I''m using that version of FF and I saw that message but I didn't have that issue. Everything looks fine.

Recent topics and recent posts - all are not in descending order by date/time.
I believe recent topics does not add new posts against a topic. (too few to be useful)
Recent posts has repeated posts against a topic. (too many to be useful)
Need only one list, in descending date/time with latest post to see what is new.
First post could be markrd as new topic, but I do not see need

Just click on the topic you want to post in, and look for the New Message button.
