Hello AT&T Community Members!
We’re excited to announce the AT&T U-Talk (U-verse), Internet and Wireless communities have a new look – we’re bigger, better and bolder than before!
You’ll notice our new landing page displaying the most recent posts, top tags and top kudo’ed posts in all three communities, plus the @ATT Twitter feed. Dig into a community – all your old posts will still be there.
Why did we do this?
- Convenience: Now log in to one place to access all three communities – Wireless, Internet and U-verse.
- If you have log in credentials for the AT&T Wireless Community, or Wireless plus Internet and/or U-verse – use your Wireless user name and password to log in. That one simple log-in will handle Wireless, Internet and U-verse community access.
- If you have only a U-verse or only an Internet log-in – that one simple log-in will handle Wireless, Internet and U-verse community access.
- If you have U-verse plus Internet log-in credentials – use your U-verse credentials. That one simple log-in will handle Wireless, Internet and U-verse community access.
- Expanding the neighborhood: We’ve brought all members together for a more vibrant community of peers.
- Better answers: More members means better discussion and better answers to your questions. Also, more community content available in one place (e.g. a search in the new consolidated community will generate more answers).
We’d love your feedback!
Please comment – we’d love to know what you think!

I'm MAD AS 7734!! I could NOT log in this morning with my user name and password as I usually do!! Instead I had to find some help, which reads like a notice from Microsoft or the f'ing IRS, with the change that has been made.
I had to end up having my password reset and then log in a reset it again to what SHOULD have been accepted!!
I may have signed in to the wireless community a few years ago but I couldn't remember my info so I could use it here so....boy, you people have pulled some lame stuff before but this takes the cake! It's putting me closer to pulling the plug on everything I have that's AT&T related!! Which would be, AT&T U-verse w/internet and AT&T wireless.
Daymn! I hate this crap!!
BTW, FYI, Still looks the same to me, so what's all the hoopla about??? Sheesh!!
My vote... Ya shoulda left it ALONE!

The cutover was not "transparent to the user" It was a pain.
The sub-boards should be available in a pull down of each blue tab at the top right.
What is good about the "go to board list"?
It is too long. Needs subfolders or pull downs.

While this was supposed to be a smooth transition it has been extremely difficult. My U-talk (which is gone and now just Uverse) user name and password would not work so had to re-register. In registering I not only had to change my password but also my email address which is exactly the same. I remember warnings on U-talk about changing email addresses so have no idea what this will now do.
Required to change email address.
Note: no "Submit" button showing and only "Reset Password" available
Note: couldn't even post without verifying new email address.
In addition to all the U-talk info erased in the below post/link by spd2demun the kudo counts and macros were also erased. Even user names on some of our long term members were changed.
It would have been nice to receive advanced warning all our photos/screenshots/images in our Image Gallery would also be erased. They could have been saved elsewhere before erasing. And those who had their avatar images saved in the gallery, like me, are now gone.
Seems kind of ironic AT&T always directed U-verse users to the U-talk Forum for questions/help and now U-talk as we knew it doesn't even exist. ![]()

I'll guarntee you those photos are on a Lithium server.
They keep backup logs of EVERYTHING, so it could be rolled back or retrieved. They did not want us to know so they could have their fun. Have already seen a few in disguise, sad.

I think the new forum sux delux.
My user name is changed, the login dance was a load of BS. And associating anything here with a cell phone account? I entered myself as a "potential user" even though I have an AT&T Cell account.
If I get any new marketing solicitations for any AT&T mobility products, I'm dropping my service and going to another carrier; and I'd encourage anyone else to do the same thing.
The community should not be a marketing effort (beyond the usual crap in the banners and side panels).
It is a way for users to help other users, not a data mining operation.
I doubt that your excitement will be shared by the user community. I'm hoping that the existing setup (as of Saturday night) is transient as the new system is brought up with the old data.
Who's idea was this anyway?
I am an AT&T employee and the postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent AT&T’s positions, strategies or opinions.

Boy guys I have to agree ... my password didn't work (at least what I thought it was) ..... had to go through email verification ..... I don't like the feel of navigating through. Maybe it is just because we were used to what we have but I am not very excited what I see and I have Wireless also but don't see any advantage to the new tabs/look!

Some previous posters have asserted/implied that it is necessary to change your user id (re-register) to sign into the new system. I was able to only ask for a password reset, which recognized my existing user id and registered email address. However, before I could post, it required me to re-validate, which I was able to do by choosing the send-the-validation-email-again option.

So how does one go about deleting their account here? It seems that I had to reset my password in order to log in. And when I did that the confirmation email said my login name was now "Me_3" and not just "Me" which I originally had. I don't care the reason "they" had no right changing my id. And I see no way of changinging it back.
Sure I can log in with the new password and new id -- that's how I was able to do this post (of course not until the email was verified). But apparently the only way to get a new id is to reregister. But that's out of the question too since it says someone already had the email address. Duh!
I don't want to use another email address and I don't want that assigned id. So what do I do now?
Oh, and speaking of registering, they insist you supply a wireless phone number. What if you don't have any? Fortunately you can supply a garbage number for that field. But then I'm screwed by the email field as I said above. ![]()

Guess you have not read the posts, most had the password reset and resend the email validation, they did not have to get a new user name via registration.

Don't think it will let you enter a used user name and will just tell them to reset the password. ![]()

milkman_1? Ok . . . I guess. Would rather be just plain ol' milkman. But, when all the other "milkman" /"milkmen?" register it will get confusing. ie: milkman_243.![]()
Signing in was not to painful. Used original login name with p/w. Didn't work of course. Clicked forgot p/w. They emailed me one. Logged in with it and verified email. Then changed password back to original.
Time will tell. As long as they keep spell check. I'm not too smrat.![]()
Edit: After posting I noticed my post number is wacked out. I'm guessing +200 from what I remember.![]()
Edit: After checking: Board Topics + Board Replies = 506.

Minor detail. The box for "search" in the upper left of each page does not say "search" anywhere.
The suggestion feature in the search field is a very nice touch. Helps you narrow your choices. It does not give search choices but takes you to an actual forum page with the info. Nice also.

I've been a U-Talk user for quite a while but never browsed the AT&T Internet or AT&T Wireless forums. Now that they are merged, I just have a couple of questions.
Does the Internet portion imply only non-UVerse Internet -- i.e. AT&T High Speed Internet?
Why are the formats different between the U-Verse portion and the other two -- i.e. they don't have the orange highlighting like U-Verse portion.
P.S. I lost my signature line and don't know where to set it back up again.
