I think I have a virus because my ATT e-mail account is sending e-mail's with links to people on my contact list. I can not find these e-mails in my sent items list on my computer or i-Phone or the web client. What do I need to do to get this to stop?

No one is accessing my e-mail: the e-mails are being sent out without accessing the e-mail account. It is a sort of virus that operates on its own after opening an infected e-mail from a friend. The sent items are not listed in the sent folder. I have changed my password and the e-mails still go out on their own.
My friend's and my accounts are both infected. I removed all contacts, which is a real hassle.
Now, how to we go about getting rid of this problem?
Cass
