2 days unable to SEND email??

started yesterday am unable to send any yahoo email via iphone. phone just spins w/ the sending message then ultimately fails to send. finally get msg showing "connection to the outgoing server apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com failed.
ummm, it worked fine for weeks. i made no acccount changes whatsoever and now it tanks. any suggestions? thanks, bub

Are you able to surf the web or use any online apps? If you are, the issue is with the email provider.
If you are not, the issue is with your network connectivity.
Have you tried resetting the device or restarting it?
Does this only happen on cellular data? What about on WiFi?
