I just got my iPhone 3g 16gig yesterday. I see that the headset has 4 conductors, one obviously for the mic. Has anyone tried plugging in a conventional headset? Or do you need an adapter?
Thx
Todd

Works just fine. You just don't get the mic or the remote button functionality that is on the iPhone headset on the right side.

There are headphone/mic adapters online. Type in your search engine "iphone"+"headphone"+"adapter".
Some adapters have the mic button on it and you plug the headset on that end.
