Big deal over buying a case

This question may or may not fit on this forum. But i was wondering who and who doesn't use a case

to protect the iphone 4. I don't i find the phone more enjoyable to use without a case. Though i do care it in one

on my belt.

I keep mine in the Speck case that I received during the free case program from Apple. I dropped my iPhone 4 three times since having it in the case, and there isn't a mark on my iPhone 4. I've always felt as though keeping your phones in a case or not is a matter of personal preference. I don't see anything wrong with a case either way as long as you are getting the most out of your iPhone and are happy with it.

Yeah I use one of those cheap clearish rubbery case thingies on mine, since I do drop it now and then . No screen protector though, can't stand those.

It really is a matter of personal preference. I find my phone more enjoyable to use without a case, but I never know when I just may need it. I have an OtterBox Impact series on my phone. It does the job. Most people suit up their [expensive] phones/other electronics with cases to keep them looking spiffy and to keep it in high resale value, if they ever would want to sell it. I have a case on both my phone and iPT. Gotta keep 'em nice.

Search for Otterbox and you will see a number of comments about the defender series and commuter series cases.  it really comes down to your preference but a good case can save one from buying a new iPhone after a simple accident.

Amazon is the best place to get the otterbox cases. Alot cheaper. My iPhone 4 is caseless at the moment. I got tired of the bulkyness of it.

otterbox defender here.  had recent drop on cement floor. no damage whatsoever. not sure it would have been the same w/o the otterbox. as they say ymmv

I bought an $8 case from eBay with a kickstand on the back, so I can watch videos, etc., without having to prop it up on something. Works great and, as others have intoned, I've dropped it a few times with not a scratch to report.
