I have an iPhone 4 and Bluetooth in my car. Is there a function or an app that will allow me to access hands free texting (hearing and verbally sending)?

None that I know of. I've even got hands free texting capability in my Ford Sync but it does not work with an iPhone.

Not yet a feature of Siri, no.

Windows Phone 7 does this, and it really does make complete hands-free in car possible.

Not that Siri would matter to the OP, though, since he or she is using the iPhone 4 which doesn't have Siri. yes it does work but u need to get u an up to date non cheap good in dash double din cd player...like a jvc...they recognize everything hands free...texting and talkin through your speakers, it all works...

Check out an app by Nuance the makers of Dragon Naturally speaking. It looks like you can launch it and dictate a message then choose the method for delivery. I think SMS is one of them?

I don't use but did take a quick look awhile back so my recollection of it's capabilities might be a little rusty.
