Has anyone receive their iphone 3G through DIrect Fulfillment

Been following this thread for a while.  Ordered a 8gb on the 11th.  Store in IL.  I agree it's a frustrating mess.  Hopefully, ATT will rectify the situation...doubtful.

I've noticed that my account has been charged twice for the phone...not real pleased about that and it adds to my list of stuff that I need to do and I don't want to deal with my bank now on this issue.

I've pretty much lost all faith in att on this total poochscrew of a rollout.  Phone and freight still states BO.  I assume it was charged because it's getting ready to ship BUT that would make too much sense!  It was charged on 7/12 and now again today...duh!

I also noticed that my store has about 350 people waiting for DF and only 3 phones have shipped.

Well it doesn't add much to it, I wouldn't try a plastic one, slider, or a clip on, it'll probably stick and stretch the sheild.

I bought a leather hip case there, it was meant for the original iPhone but I figured since both had about the same specs except the tapering and it being a TINY bit taller and a TINY bit wider that it would most likely work after I broke it in.

So did you buy the skin juice they were selling or did you make you're own as suggested by opting for priority shipping (at that rate, it's not a whole lot different in cost from the Ebay InvisibleShield sellers).

Is the squeegee good?

Are you sure was meant to attached to the home button, not just a cut-out?

Check this demo out, same Youtube video I previously posted. I'd smack that reporter if she ever did that to my iPhone!

joeley:     i bought it and it came with the front  back (with sides),  and a card to push the bubbles out,   u use soapy water.  its actually better than the spray.  hope i answered ur question.

Gotta read the fine print on my receipt... Has anyone noticed how the stats from the status checker site shows a huge downward spike in orders shipped on the 16th. Has there been speculation about this? Is the same lack of activity on 19th of concern or is it just because it's a Saturday?

Still doesn't explain, drop on the 16th. Has there been any? Were they just getting their bugs worked out, or badly reported (or computed by the status checker)?

It is just a hip case to carry it, not be on it all the time, especially when you are doing anything with the screen/phone calls.

Woke up, checked and IT HAD SHIPPED!!!!

Checked the tracking number and it was on the truck for delivery (from Memphis, TN)!

I was 7th as of last night (July 18th).

I have not been off of BO all day... which makes me think that the warehouse did not (will not) get a major shipment today (nor tomorrow).  Usually, I go off of BO briefly when they get stock in.  The 7/19 trickle may be due to product that they didn't get out yesterday.  Dunno.

Dude, I did this today. I ordered the same as you, went into the store today and spoke with the CSR as well as the manager. They did indicate that the majority of what they had been getting in quickly was the white one. I know it is a risk, but I figure what the heck. Why not try it. I actually think I like the white a bit more the more I have looked at it in the store. I will let you know if it works out. OF course, it could very well take me another 3 weeks now to get the thing. Hehe.

I don't blame you.  I've been reviewing stats for my store, and some of the very first people that placed orders on 7/11 are still waiting... presumably for 16 Gb Black.  I'd be pretty ripped if I was them.  Since I was an afternoon order, I guess I have some reason to worry.  But still, there are about 10 people behind me on 7/11... and at this rate the phones will not ship this weekend.

I will also say this. I don't know if it means anything or not (probably not) but when I placed my order for the black on initially, it took 2 days for ATT to send the confirmation email to me. For the white one, I placed the order today and got the email confirmation 2 hours later. Also, I am not on BO status. Of course we all now know that does not mean a thing. We will see.

My brother order me a phone and himself a phone on 7/12 at 12:45pm.  One of them shipped today 7/19 but they other one didnt and they were ordered back to back. Rediculous. Now the battle begins for who gets the first one!
