If I download the app straight to my phone then sync it with itunes its fine. But if I try and download it through itunes and sync it to the iphone it says unknow error 0xe800003 and then the app I was trying to install

Ok I called the store where I ordered the phone from. They said I couldn't cancel the order???. And that they could ship the phone to me overnight but they would have to activate it before they ship it to my house. I don't know what to do. I really don't feel like driving 6 hours for when it comes it to get it since I'm back in VA. Any suggestions?

I can't wait to get productivity back out of a phone. i've been without my blackberry curve for two weeks and its like me without my wallet or something.I can't wait to be organized again.I tell you though I am afraid that something is going to go wrong.it'll be just my luck the system goes down like it did for crismson or i can't get it to act right for me.i'll be so upset.I just got rid of my Macbook Pro and I think I made a terrible mistake maybe this phone will hold me over till I go back to the store and get another Macbook.

Ordered my white 16gb iPhone on Friday the 25, and I was told 3-5 days. Today checked my ordered and noticed it has been shipped and expected to be delivered by tomorrow the 30th. :] Cant wait!

Rep who sold me mine tried to tell me that too but when I called into business care the lady told me I could and I could reorder and still buy for the upgrade price etc.....I think they don't want to do it basically and would rather tell you you can't.It can be done though but you need to call in.Thats new to me that they'll overnight to you.I wish I could of done that.

I first went to the ATT store on the 12th to order a new iphone / service. The rep assured me he would set aside the three phones I needed from their next shipment (he guessed under 7 days - around wednesday) and call us when they came in, until then we were issued temporary sony ericssons.
I started to get suspicious pretty quick after reading about direct fulfillment since that was definately not what I had done.
I called the store on the Wednesday the rep predicted a new shipment in and had my fears confirmed. Some "policy had changed" and although they had received two additional shipments of phones in none had been set aside. I would have to come in and order new phones from direct fulfillment.
Where is the communication?

I placed an order for three phones on the 16th and was told they would arrive in 7-10 days. On day 12 the eight gigabyte version arrived and ATT called us to come get it. Unfortunately, by the time we got down there some system malfunction prevented them from giving us the phone. Again, where was the communication?

I am now waiting for the two remaining 16 gig iphones to arrive, but seeing how I'm numbers 5 and 6 in the queue and the drought of shipments from ATT over the last two days I doubt the phones will arrive before the week is up.

I wish the ATT management did a better job at keeping their staff informed.

Day 13 or 18 when I first thought I ordered the phones.

Tanj, i got charged last night but nothing shows up in status yet. It's still early. I ordered the 16g blk on the 17th and there are 2 orders for the 16th ahead of me. Yes I am stalking both of those orders. LOL If I wasn't on my 7 days off this would be a whole lot easier.

I'll just have to wait and see.

I think those of us who ordered 16-blacks will have a long wait. At my store (94040), there are still 9 orders from 7/16 and 20 orders from 7/17 awaiting shipment and I think most, if not all, of them are 16-blacks. Looks like there's a huge shortage of them. And this store has been getting a pretty good regular shipment of phones. It shipped 30-40 per day last week, 6 on Sunday, 8 yesterday, and already 8 today.

More than likely your intuition is right.When that pending charged popped back up after being gone a week I would have not felt like something was going to happen soon and then all of sudden it said shipped so i think you'll hear something soon.Keep us posted!

I know if I wouldn't have ordered the 8gb I would of chosen the 16gb in black.I think its the one mostly in demand they are shipping them but just not as fast as the white one.I think you'll get it soon.I really hope they kick things up a notch (I sound like Chef Emeril,lol.)

Hi guys! Much like many others, I'm pretty depressed today

after seeing a huge influx of shipments over the weekend

and then none yet this week. I have moved up to #3 in the queue, and if things had continued at the same rate as last week, I would've shipped for sure yesterday. Now the pending charge that had been on my card all last week, has now fallen off, I am back on BO for both. So to sum it up, no shipments yet this week, no more pending charge on my card, and no more BO. Its not looking too promising for me right now.

What is with the shipments this week, has anyone found out anything about them? It's down to a crawl, only 1 or so a day since Sunday. Last week the local store was getting in 10 a day! At this rate it'll be late August before I get one and I'm #10 in the queue!

Hey Crimson,

It's good that the apps will sync from the iPhone to the computer, but you shouldn't be getting the error if you download to the computer first, and it's probably best to follow up on it now before you've had the phone for too long. I'd call Apple support and see if they have a fix you can try. It still sounds like a software/firmware issue more than a phone issue. Other than this, is the phone working right?

Shipments at my store near East Lasning MI have slowed down to a crawl too. It was moving fairly fast up until Saturday (at least 8 a day), then down to just a few a day, and only 2 shipped yesterday. I ordered a 16GB black on July 18 at 8:30 PM, am number 6 in the queue, and I figure at this rate my phone will be in late this week. Apple stores are all at least an hour from here, and they either don't get the 16GB black in, or if they do, they sell out fast.

I know what you mean, except the pregnant part lol. I am used to my first gen for the past 5 months and now I sold it today and am usin a 5 year old piece of crap loaner from the friend i sold it to lol. So if mine aint here by friday I'm gunna b upset. It had BETTER be here by the 14th when I go back to school, otherwise I don't know how I'll survive without txtin lol
