Has anyone receive their iphone 3G through DIrect Fulfillment [ Edited ]

Ordered mine on the 14th and received it yesterday (28th). Don't go by what the queue says it's not even close to telling you when your phone will ship or what order your in, at least in my case as my number was some where in the 2600's if I read it right.

Anyway be pationant.

I HAVE OFFICIALLY CLOSED THE ATT ORDERSTATUS AND FED EX PAGES...... my phone arrived at the store and i am going to go pick it up.... once again for you new comers.... i want to tell you my story...   ordered the 18th ( 8gb), exactly 10 days later, it shipped... i was number 21 in queue.. so once again... queue spots mean almost nothing... its a guideline for the shipments.. however.. depends on what you ordered

my store has had a few shipments today. Only one went out yesterday.

1 in the queue is for 'acce', so I know it's not a phone.

It will happen... they only shipped 2 to my store...luckily I was #1 in queue   Not sure when it will be here though as DHL doesnt show an expected delivery date....grrrrr... at least I know its SOMEWHERE on the way.. lol

Well today is my 10 day anniversary....still no shipment update. I am hoping since i ordered the 8GB that it will ship by tonight? Anyone else that ordered on 7/19 starting seeing them go out?

I just got a call from my eye doctor's office and was told that my new frames are on back order and I'm probably going to have to wait about a week for them.  I guess Steve Jobs is in the glasses frame business too!

BTW I know that I am grossly simplifying the issue, but is it really so difficult to ramp up the production of the 16G black phone if they know its the hottest item?  Why still so dry on the supply?  I know I'm looking at it selfishly but the demand clearly is not as high for the white model.  I guess it's just the frustration of a person that ordered on the 16th and still is on back order...

Hey anybody think I should go ahead and cancel my order since I'm back in VA and ordered in PA? They said I couldn't cancel it when I called the store up there but said when it comes it they could activate it and send it to my house overnight. Should I just cancel and order a new one from a store down here since my contract with t-mobile ends the 1st this friday?

everyone stay positive and  optimistic.  it took me 13 days, i got mine finally yesterday and it's everything i hoped for and more *1st iphone, longtime apple user* so i know it's been a long wait but hang in there.  i went thru several fits of anger and had a few outbursts here on the forum.  if you have any questions for me, please pm me dont post as im doing other things like playing with my iphone!

My sister ordered her 30 minutes before me. Her's (8 gb) shipped this past Friday. There's been no activity at my store for 2 days. This is getting ridiculous.

What I'm mostly p.o.'ed at is how they're pumping them to Apple stores, while taking AT&T customers' credit card info and saying 'see ya in 2 weeks.' They claimed to have sold 1 million the first week, but did 1 million people actually have iPhones in their hands?

i can't look at that article it makes me mad.they are boasting how they sold all those phones yet their are so many people out there iphoneless.

i read where someone has been waiting 14 days and another 11.i'm sorry to hear that.i know its frustrating.it brings your spirits down thats for sure.

My 8GB is still on backorder...i guess it depends which distribution center its coming from. The shippments to philadelphia come mostly from Tennesse. It was off of backorder yesterday all day and today went back to backordered.

well, my 8gb was order on july 21st im number 19 in my locla queue.  Its weird cause my status according to att is backorder on both the FRT and phone and has since day one not once has it came off backorder i also see people in my local queue who order there phone just 3 days ago and already has theres shipped.  the entire thing doesnt make much since i check once in the morning and once at night to see my queue. it was moving fast last week like 20 phones a day and the past 2 days there have only been 3 phones each day shipped to my local store.  makes you wonder if they just dont roll them in and be like ship this there and that one there with no order in mind lol
