One of my friends applied one set of covers, then wanted to do it again because one edge looked bad (according to him...looked fine to me, he's a bit of a perfectionist LOL)...he said after he took it off to apply another set, the phone looked fine...no residue at all.

I'll be the guinea pig...no problem.

I just need a phone!

My credit card has a pending charge of 531.07, but my receipt says my total was 528.94, could they have added a few extra $$ onto my card??

I am really hoping that since i have had a charge put on my account for over 24hrs and my phone is off b/o it will ship tonight, but with the way things have been going lately I don't feel good about my chances.

I had that happen when they actually charged my cc for the one iphone (I ordered 2) and they charged like an extra $60 I was hopeing it was just a hold but its completly stupid it didn't make any since

I researched these screen protectors you guys are talking about for nearly 4 hours, literally (I was bored!). I want the best for my baby!

Anyways, I found that the InvisibleShield was good but some had problems with an "orange-peel" effect on the screen. There's another company out there called Ghost Armor that I have seen some pics of and they come out nice with no orange-peel.

Then I thought, I've dropped my Razr about 30 times, it's a tank! I'm bound to drop this thing sometime, no matter how careful I am. These shields are not going to do a thing except protect from scratches. So I researched some cases. I decided to order the Griffin Wave case, which is very nice looking, and the Power Support crystal screen protector which is exactly like InvisibleShield but it's a static-cling instead of glue. I ordered both from the Apple store online and they had very strong reviews.

Did your phone ship out shortly after you noticed the charge?? Maybe it'll ship out in the next 48 hours.

I was quite interested on the bodyguardz one from the reviews i have read online. I did much research today since my phone is coming in soon :-). I just dont want a case that makes my iphone look too bulky, but i also want to protect it so it doesnt scratch.

I was worried about the same exact thing, I did not want the bulk. I also did not want to ruin this amazing phone with an ugly rubber case. Seriously, check out the Griffin Wave case, it's very skinny and reviewers say it has a nice feel and it's transparent on the back so you still see the Apple logo and everything, it looks pretty sweet!

one of them did the other one still hasn't , but its not canceled and I know I had enough money in to begin with I actually had extra and nothing else has come out of my checking account

     After calling my local retail store and business care, I resulted in driving down to the local Retal Store to find out what was going on with my order. I must say upfront that the amount of time it has taken me to get someone who could tell me anything is disappointing to say the least.

   When I reached the store, I explained to the greeter that I needed an update on my order since I had been calling around all day and no one could tell me anything and that they did not show an order for me in the system. The greeter (unfortunately I forgot her name) repeatedly told me, I would get a phone call when the order was shipped and AT&T could be of no further assistance. After I explained that I was previously told that the order did not even show up in the system, she reconfirmed AT&T could not even see if my order had been placed. The only assurance I had was that I had my receipt and even then it could not be verified. At this point she raised her voice to a level that customers began turning to look and I got the feeling that I was being reprimanded.

   I continued to request verification and was finally ‘allowed’ to speak to a retail consultant who confirmed that (of all things) my order was mysteriously CANCELLED. The only explanation she could provide was that I either cancelled it (which is the last thing I would do) or I did not have enough money in my account for the order. She could not even give me a cancellatin date. I attempted to explain although there was a hold placed for the funds; I also had well over that to cover several orders for an iPHONE.

What would have happened if I just went home and waited like the greeter demanded?

     The only solution I was given was to place another order that would take another 10-21 days to fulfill or drive to an Apple store. Given my proximity of an Apple store (3-4 hours away), I am considering just moving to another carrier and forgetting the iPhone and more importantly AT&T. The poor customer service experience and flawed order process are inexcusable. What do you all think I should do?

I have a Zagg cover and some silicone covers. I was planning to use both. I will write a review in another thread when I get my phone. I have pretty much the same setup with my iPod, but it's not really a Zagg cover on my iPod, just a similiar product.

I've had the covers for over a week and my phone just shipped today, and I ordered the covers a few days after the phone.

Well I can only hope that it will ship soon, from what everybody is reporting when their phone ships, I should have mine by this saturday (I ordered a black 16 on July 21st).

Actually I don't beleive they are shipped on sat or sun, they will process orders but they won't arrive till monday

I would be most frusutrated if i were you . You are pretty far from an apple store, you could either bite the bullet and wait anohter two weeks thru df, if you dont care about size and color, you can go for a 16 gig white which you can probably get in 3-5 days. If you are fed up with att altogether, i hear verizon is offering the blackberry thunder, which seems like the closest competitior.

amanda how was it putting on the zagg prodcut on your ipod. I am just worried about how hard it is to put on those covers. If its worth the hassle.

If at&t ships my phone to the store on friday via Priority Overnight it will be there saturday, I confirmed this with the rep that assisted me with my order.

It's not bad, but I draw and place decals on most of my laptops, so I'm used to the process. The hardest part is that you have to line it up exactly right fast, but the skin was better than a decal because it was a bit thicker and not as easy to tear.

I honestly don't think ordering from a different store will speed it up.
If you want to order a different color/size, then go to the store and ask if they can cancel the other order. Only ATT can say if they will cancel it or not.

Ordered mine (16Gb Black) On the 16th. Rep said it would be 10 - 20 days. I've seen the phone go off and on back order many times. Today is the 14th day...I'm hoping I see something happen soon.
