Has anyone receive their iphone 3G through DIrect Fulfillment

I fear that I am mistaken.  Att charged my card and the website report that the phone was off bo.  I only naturally assumed that meant that I was getting my phone.  However, I am yet to recieve a shipping notification and now the phone is on bo again.

I am so confused.  I just want my iphone.  I saw a lady with a 1st gen at lunch today and actually felt jealous.  Crazy, I know.

Mine did the same thing Sunday, the charge showed up and the phone went off BO, then about midday yesterday it went back on backorder.  At about 8 last night I checked the status and had a tracking number, the shipping notification didn't come until 12:30 this morning.  I wouldn't doubt if yours ships tonight.  Good Luck

Not crazy...everybody here has gone a bit nuts.  I'm actually happy I managed to hold back my rage that one of my employees has a 16g blk, just like the one I want...I almost told him to put as much into his work as into getting his phone, but that wasn't really fair...I was just jealous...

I ordered late on 7/28, 8GB. My debit card was charged for the second time this morning. Yesterday, it had been going on and off BO all day. I'm thinking (hoping?) it will ship sometimes between today and Thursday, so that I can get it before the weekend.

DF Order 16gb white 7/30 . Track it was at the Store 8/5 10:39   went to get It and  when i got there lady told me the manger is not there to check the iphone and i could get it until the manger came back the next day. B.S.

Yea I was mad as h@#$ . I had the receipt and tracking printed out (Smmerville SC) I ask her when the manager not there i quess you dont sale phones.  One of them was out side running there mouth on phone and smoking in front of the store..

For sure, I'd be pretty mad if that happened to me...as it is, I'm upset because my CC is charged but my stupid phone is still on BO.  Oh but how I will laugh when it is finally in my hands....maniacal laughter (seriously, I may end up in a psych ward...which I won't mind as long as they let me keep the phone)

no change on the website... hopes falling

I call the Att store and she says they recieved a shipment today...  HOPES WAY UP

Then she tells me mine wasn't one in the shipment...  hopes way down

(and cancelling seems kind of silly, I mean you've already gone through a lot of aggravation...may as well get a phone out of it)  Plus, seven days isn't exactly a long time for us...I've been waiting 10, and many people didn't get it for 13, one guy is apparently over 21 days right now...

Hey lowlife keep us posted with your status. I have been stalking my order status since day one. It was shipped yesterday and arrived at my store today. They said I would get a email and a call when it arrived. I received no call so decided to call and see if it was there. A guy answered he seemed to want to help me then some lady got on the phone and asked me "did we call you " and "who was your sales rep". I told her no and Tiffany and she said she was not there and hung up in my face. During my stalking I notice that my particular store had only one person that signed for all the shipments that come in but there was no signature on my delivery. So I guess, that person is some sort of manager that has to process the order in the system before it is released to the customer. So, since he didnt sign I guess he/ she is not there today. I would be upset but they have not charged my card yet for it.

Wow.  If there is one thing I simply can not handle is being treated rudely by somebody like that.  I would've called right back and found out who that was and demand to know why customers get treated so badly and if they did it again I'd drive to the store and chew them out in front of the other customers.  But then, like I said, I find that kind of thing upsetting.

8 days counting Saturdays until it shipped.  I ordered my 16gb black on the 25th and it showed up in the store at 11:15 this morning.

I actually called yesterday when my phone said "shipped" to confirm that even though the sales rep wasn't there (who ordered my phone), I could still pick it up. He said yes... I don't think the rep has to be there.  You only supposed to need your ID and your receipt and whoever is there can look it up and get you your phone...that's what my friend who works at an att store told me...of course, he also told me that a bunch of shipments of phones were supposed to come in, which apparently hasn't happened....

The rep I ordered phone from only had 1 week left until she was leaving at&t, and sure enough when I picked the phone up today, her replacement was already there working.  So no, the rep that you ordered through does not have to be there.

To all that are waiting on you iphone3g. I have found some steps to help in your quest.

If you are tired of looking at a order screen with useless info here are some pointers.

First for those of you that have not found out a way to look your status up.

1. Go to https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/

2. Choose a search method.

a) Order Number ( look on your receipt at the top and find your store number and subtract the store number and the 0 from your Order ID and take note of the stores zip code you will need it in step 3)
e.g. if your store number is K123 and your Order ID is K1230456789. Your order is number 456789

b) Wireless Number ( the wireless number associated with the order)

c) Home/ Work Number ( the Home/ Work number associated with the order)

3. Billing or shipping ZIP code is the STORES zip code not your home.

4. Enter your paraphrase (I's, O's, 0's and L's are hard to decipher)

5. Click submit with your mouse do not use the enter key.

Now you should see your order status.

Now to see progress follow these steps.

1. Take your order number, which in this case is 456789 but use 456788 then 456787 and so on until you get to a order that shows a shipped status.

2.I you get to a order that is shipped continue going back for a about five numbers
e.g If you get to 456770 go back to 456765 because it may be that that particular person bought either white or 8gb iphone which are shipping out faster and you need to find where the black ipods are.

3. Take in these considerations
A) Iphone model demand is different at all stores.
B) Some people may have canceled and still may be in the system.

This will give a idea of where you stand. Good luck
