Does the iPhone3G use a special sim card? Our business rep that placed the order also put two 'Apple Sim Cards' (Item# 73023) on the order to go with the two 'Apple iPhone 16 GB 3G BLK Phones' (Item# 69114). Does that sound right?

Interesting choice of names..."Light" or "Black white," eh?  So...nihongo de shabereru n desu ka?  Or do you just like Japanese words/names as a result of a manga influence?  I used to live in Japan, so anyway...

I think naming a phone is kind of pointless, but if I were going to I'd name it "The Dark Knight."  Oh my gosh, how many of you guys have seen The Dark Knight?  That was one amazing movie.  I'm gonna go see it again this weekend.  For those who haven't seen it yet, GO!!!  It is by far the best movie this year, if not in several years!  I was blown away!!! 

Anyway, "Dark Knight" it is.

My store (Glendale, AZ - suburb of Phoenix) shipped out some for 7/19 orders on 7/29.  Sounds like they might be a little ahead of other cities as far as shipments.  I'm a 7/21 orderer (is that a word?) so I'm hoping for a ship date of 8/1 - 8/3, especially considering the number of cancelled orders between the current crop being shipped and me.  I just want it before 8/5, doing a Vegas trip and it would be fun for the 4 hour drive (guess the wife is driving on this trip if it comes in).

From what I hear, it takes longer for the 8gb black versions b/c everyone got those..  If you ordered a 16 gb version, you get urs quicker... at least in some cities...

Yeah I understand the 8 GB black has the highest demand, followed by the 16 GB black, and the 16 GB white has the lowest.

Just wondering how long the other people had to wait for their whites.

It's hard to say...  People have all different times...  Ive been on this bascially from day 1... ( this fourm ) and people are starting to get theirs for the orders placed on teh 17th / 18th...

I ordered my black 8gb on the 20th...  I'm hoping for today ( officially wed )...  that would be 10 business days...( I hear they ship 24/7 so I dunno )
