Help!
Wife and I got i4s w/5G data package last week. Went to wireless page and clicked on "data usage" to see how we are doing against our allotment and pulled up "call this number for data usage". What's this? I find it hard to believe ATT doesn't just make current usage available to customers so we can monitor usage? Comments/help?
Thanks!

Dial *3282# from your phone and you'll get a text message showing your current data and text usage.

You can also check your data usage online by going to this link and logging in: https://www.att.com/olam/passthroughAction.myworld
Here's a great article that explains more about managing your data usage. There's a video at the top what gives some handy information too: http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB1102

my usage went from 20-25G/month to 5.4/day in August. Possibly my computer has been hacked (Reveton virus). computer is now in shop. Daily usage is vital in determining this fix, but I have having trouble getting the usage tab to work.

If your computer was hacked, how could that affect how much data your iPhone uses over the cell network?

I find that the data usage shown on the APP is basically worthless. The delay in posting actual data usage makes the data usage in the APP worhtless when it comes to managing your uwage. My APP has been showing 2703MB of a 4096MB data plan as usage for the last 3 days but I've been getting text messages that I've used 90% and then 100% of my data plan for the month. Today I find that I'm 389MB over my plan but yet the APP and ATT website both show me at 2706MB.It seems that the only accurate way to track data usage is by periodically calling the data usage number. If the APP has such a delay in posting accurate data usage why does ATT even bother!!
