How long does it take for the iPhone to ship after it says it is not on back-order?

I ordered my iPhone on the 23rd of July and today on line two which has the word "phone" on it, shows that it is not back-ordered. So when is it going to ship?

It will ship sometime after *both* FRT and PHONE have 0 for backordered.

This happen to me too.  I ordered my iPhone on the 23rd and when I checked the status today the back-ordered went from 1 to 0, so I'm hoping it'll shipped by tonight and I get it tomorrow.

I think everyone had their PHONE backorder status to 0.

Watch, I bet later tonight it goes back to 1.

Ordered 16gb black on the 26th... it now says FRT back-ordered 1 .. Phone back-ordered 0... When can I expect it to get delivered to the store?

dude, you might as well sit down, its going to be at least a few more days.. expect it around august 5th or later

The guy at the AT&T store told me to expect the iPhone in 7 days or less!!
Maybe major cities(NYC) get more shipments?
I'm really hoping for 7 days or less

 honestly I haven't heard of anyone (unless you got a white) getting it in under 7 days for about 2 weeks at least now. = /
good luck though, they might be but you also have more people up there.. just don't be disappointed if it doesn't, I'm on day 9 now

that is what we have been calling the back order dance....It will come off and go back on several times before it actually ships. If you ordered a Black 16 then you might as well sit back and relax unless something extraordinary happens for you. People that ordered 16G Black on the 17th are still waiting. Mine has been on and off backorder status daily for a week now. It is off BO right now but not the freight. I am on day 11 now.... Unless FRT and the phone go off Back order and you actually have a tracking number to the far right it hasnt shipped

Well I ordered my iphone on the 19th of July. On the order tracker thing, on freight it says 1 backorder but on the phone it says 0 backorder. idk what that means.

Back order means absolutly nothing the first few days after I put in my order it went in and out of  back order and when it actually shipped it was in back order for a least 4 more days before it shipped and at that point it just went straight to shipped..  Even checking your position in the queue isn't accurate it just gives you a little more info so you can make a guess.

1) You go to the AT&T store and pay up front
2) When I pre-ordered mine it took at least two weeks.

They will send an email indicating it's on the way. The store representative called me to let me know to come in and pick the phone up. I was there next evening and my card was billed the phone's reserved cost from the day they swiped it.
