I was wo just the other day.ndering if anyone else was having issues with their IMessaging after the upgrade to the software

No issue's for me after updating two iPhones (4 & 4S). Have you gone into your settings to make sure iMessage is still turned on? Have you done a hard reset (hold power button & home button at same time until you see the Apple logo...will take at least 10 seconds)?

my Imessaging still works for me after software upgrade. try a hard reset hold the power button and the home button for 10 seconds after the iphone turns off turn it back on.

Also make sure you are messaging another iPhone user who is running at least 5.0 with iMessage turned on.

If you've done all this then it sounds like you need to make an appointment with your nearest Apple Genius Bar.

Try logging out of iMessage then log back in. If that does not work, restore the iPhone via iTunes.
