Just Bought a Iphone

Hi,

I just bought an Iphone 3G. I can't use it until i upgrade my plan to unlimited data.
So i upgraded my plan to the 35$ a month one with unlimited text and data (Best one i think)?
My bill cycle starts on the 12th of every month
Does this mean i have to wait until dec 12th before i can use the iphone with the unlimited data?

Huh?  The iPhone 3G data plan alone is $30 .. The unlimited texting is another $20 on top of that.  Where are you getting $35 from?  Are you sure you added the right plans?

When its added correctly it should start immediately.  You can check by logging into your online account manager and looking at your features to see if the iPhone data plan is listed on your account.  Or you can call customer service and they can verify it for you.

Since i havent put my sim card into my iphone yet, it still says my LG VU
and when i click upgrade, there is a Unlimited Data plan that says TEXTing = Unlimited, and DATA = Unlimited for 35$.

Hi.

 This is not the iPhone plan, its for the other AT&T phone plans. I saw this too, when I was looking into the AT&T plans for my iPhone.

what the... so how do i get to see the iphone plans? i switched my "device" to an iphone, but its all the same.

Ok so i've been reading about the iphone and the data plans.
I'm pretty confused.
If my contract does NOT have an iphone on it, but i bought the iphone, can i still use it? it says something about rewnewing a 2 year contract or some crap?
I can see the 20$ for unlimited texting. but i can't see anything about data.
My girlfriends dad says he has unlimited data and texting for 35$ a month, like i saw earlier.

I read all that, and that requires a new contract, OR extending 2 years.
Can't i use the iphone without doing either one? We pay month to month, theres no extended contract.
I just want to give myself unlimited data and texting on the contract i already have.

Hi,

Do you have an AT&T store near by. They can be of much more Help to you than anyone here can. From what I've learned their is only the One Plan for the iPhone. The, $30.00 Unlimited Data, and what ever Text plan you want to choose.

You have to have ATT add the iPhone data plan and they are going to extend that lines contract out 2 years.
