Lost "settings" icon on my 3gs

I lost my settings icon on my 3gs.  I have tried truning off and a hard reset.  The phone is less than a week old. Any suggestions?  Thank you

See if it was moved into another folder?  (This is what I am guessing has happened.  slide to the screen all the way to the left to bring up the search page and type "settings"  If that does not work, you may need to restore and setup your phone again as new.

Thank you I found it when I searched my iphone but how do I get the icon back?

Are you able to press down the Settings icon and drag it from the search results?

Did you jailbreak your iPhone? There is not really a way to hide it that I am aware of.

iPhones do not have this functionality.

I cant slide icon and I have no folders and no it is not jailbroken.

Try this. Go back to settings via the search. Go to General>reset>reset home screen layout. You will need to reorganize your icons but everything should be back.

From Working as a CSR I have noticed this a lot on Iphones, don't know how its done, the only way I have found out to get it back is to do a restore on the phone.
