I have the iPhone 4S and all my emails from different email clients download fine when I'm under different Wi-Fi networks. However, I noticed that when I'm under AT&T's 4G network I sporadically receive the "mail server not responding" for just the IMAP email accounts I have listed from my own website.
The strange thing is sometimes the emails download fine from the IMAP email accounts from my website, and other times I get that popup message. This is very annoying and I'm trying to see if anyone knows how to fix this or if anyone else has experienced this issue before.
It seems like my IMAP gmail account works fine in both Wi-Fi and 4G, but I don't know why my IMAP email accounts from my website run into this issue sporadically only when I'm under 4G. And the strange thing is; it use to work fine all the time under 4G...maybe a 4G network issue?
