New LG Xpression randomly not getting texts from one person? Help!!

Hi everyone. I recently got a new LG Xpression. Periodically it seems to have trouble recieving messages from only one number (that I know of) . I thought it would just go away, thinking At&t might be having problems. Unfortunatly the problem has continued and is becoming more serious. It only happens with one person and he is also an At&t user. What is wrong? Oh and just yesterday I got a notification that I recieved a new message. When I went to check I didn't see one. It still has the icon that I have a new message in the conversation. It's like it thinks I haven't opened the message yet, but there isnt one.

are they using a iphone with imessage? If they have send as sms turned off you will never get the text

Mine too! The problem is any message over 1page or 160 characters is at risk for not being gotten....do you and this person usually exchange longer messages?
