No ATT customer service phone support

Disgusted at the lack of ATT customer service. Error messages say to call our carrier...how can we call our carrier if they don't post a phone # for help.

For service or support questions including existing order status, call:

Customer Support: 1-800-331-0500

Its rather easy to find their phone number     http://wireless.att.com > click on "Contact Us" (its on very bottom of webpage) >  Click on "Contact AT&T by Phone" > then you will see "Customer Support: 1-800-331-0500"

Or, even if the website was horribly confusing, here's an idea... Google "at&t wireless customer service"... First link that comes up, you don't even have to click it, the text below the link says "Considering AT&T? For AT&T devices 1-800-331-0500..."

{Keep it courteous} ...go directly to their website. You won't find a phone number anywhere. That number you posted is a message system and won't really take you anywhere. I finally had to call Apple and they connected me directly to their contact #. Luckily I got the number now. {Keep it courteous and edit out any uncalled for comments.}

Umm, it won't take you anywhere? I call that number ALL THE TIME and get a customer service rep within like 3-5 minutes... Don't tell me you can't go anywhere. You can buy new phones, you can check your account balance, report a lost or stolen phone, check upgrade dates, change your plan, you name it, you can do it. {Keep it courteous and edit out any uncalled for comments.}

And we've been over this, where to find the number... att.com/wireless, bottom of the page, "Contact us."

I have been trying to get a download removed from my phone for the past two days.  Customer service doesn't pickup. Tried online chat, they couldn't help.  Finally got a rep on phone, verified who I was and now I have been on hold while being transferred to another rep for the past 15 minutes.  Has anyone got any suggestions, other than dropping this service period.

What do you mean download?  You bought something and did not mean to and/or you bought something and you no longer want it?

Did you even TRY to get through to someone?  Or did you just hear that it was an automated line and not even try?  If you know how to get through the prompts, you can be talking to someone in 2 minutes or less, depending on if they have a hold time or not.

And if you did hear it was an automated line and just didn't even try, don't blame AT&T for your lack of effort.  The phone number is on the website, and it's also printed on your bills, plus as was mentioned before you could google it, or even drop by an AT&T store for assistance.

Customer service is just that.  SERVICE.  Not to hold your hand and do everything for you.

I am not sure which page did you go to, when you go to att.com main page and there, you can click on wireless and there, on the bottom, it said contact us, and from there, it gives you options how to contact them, one is Contact AT&T By Phone...

Sometimes, the right answer is right in your face.
